  • KAFU-THE CLOWN - ARINDAM | SHIVAANI
In a small village up the Garhwal mountains in India people walk up the mountains in small numbers to worship trees . Every year during the time of Aashaadha Sankranti they select one of the villagers amongst them as "KAFU" which in local language mean A Clown. The "Kafu" is being wrapped with tree branches and being walked around the mountains.
